This Great Aloha run was started by Carole Kai and Cardiologist Jack Scaff back in 1985 and it would start from our ALOHA TOWER in downtown Honolulu to ALOHA STADIUM. The run is one of the largest race of the year. This year at the NBC on February 14, 2009, there were many activities at NBC including autographs from Hawaii’s Great Athletes, CHAD OWENS, LEONARD PETERS, MA’A TANUVASA , VINCE MANUWAI and DAVONE BESS. Also present were Coach MEL DeLAURA, BRAD KALILIMOKU and former Volleyball player KELLY ONG who participated in the Kids for Fitness at the NBC. Devon Nekoba from KUMU was the MC introducing the players for the signing today. The race is schedule for Monday morning, February 16, 2009 from downtown Aloha Tower to the Aloha Stadum and they expect over 25,000 runners. Click here to view more photos.
