Island Sports Media is a place for former Hawai’i residents, Islanders, or anyone that love the islands to visit, for information on sports, news, music, or anything else around the world. This is not a newspaper but more of a weekly magazine, in other words, we write what we like, whenever we like. So, come back to visit often!!
ISM’s passion is sports and photography but we also try to please everyone’s interest. ISM not only focuses on Hawai’i and Islanders but we focus on the rest of the world too.
Island Sports Media provides un-bias reviews of our favorite restaurants, some island sports, news, and anything else we want to write and review about.
Island Sports Media is also a provider of News and Sports Photos to various publications worldwide. ISM covers any type of event but we love to focus on island athletes or entertainers when the opportunity arises. ISM’s team is capable of transmitting photos live from events to our clients.

President/Editor in Chief
Steve Kajihiro is the founder and President/CEO of Island Sports Media. Steve is a graduate of the University of Hawai’i and now lives in Washington State. Steve is a sports photographer/writer and have covered events such as college football, basketball, college bowl games, professional football, the Super Bowl, and the Pro Bowl. He was a team photographer for an arena football team and a minor league pro basketball team. Steve also works as a freelance photographer for a newswire service. Some of Steve’s most recent photos can be seen in the Northwest Hawai’i Times, Sports Illustrated, PolyNation the Magazine, the book: The Road to the Sugar Bowl, and more. Steve is also the owner and lead photographer of JAMK Photography in Everett, Washington and a member of the coveted sports photographer’s community called sportsshooter.com.

Vice President
Dave Kajihiro is the Vice President of Island Sports Media. Dave graduated from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. He currently resides on Oahu, Hawai`i, with his wife and three children.
Dave is a coach with the Leeward Junior Bowling Club at Leeward Bowl. He is also an avid fan of the University of Hawai`i Warriors football team, he has either attended or watched on TV, every UH football game for over 20 years. Dave also enjoys playing all kinds of sports, like bowling, golfing, fishing, softball, baseball, basketball, and pickup football. In his younger days, Dave used to work on and race “hot rod” cars, like his Cutlass 442 at Hawai’i Raceway Park.
Dave currently works in a large organization and has over 20 years of management experience.
Dave will be overseeing operations in Hawai`i.
Director of Photography
Jeff Faddis is the Director of Photography for Island Sports Media. Jeff has experience in all aspects of photography from weddings, landscapes, and sports. Jeff is also a freelance photographer for a local news publication and a member of the coveted sports photographer’s community called sportsshooter.com.
Jeff will assist with the coordination of any photographic needs of Island Sports Media. He will be responsible in requesting credentials and assigning events to staff photographers and reporters, as well as freelance personnel. He will also, assist with Island Sports Media’s sales and marketing team.
Jeff is also the owner and photographer for On Location Photography in Bellevue, Washington.
